NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners

Our team of Behaviour Support Practitioners support people with disability in managing difficult behaviours by creating individualized strategies for them, their families, and their care team, in a way that reduces and eliminates the need for the use of regulated restrictive practices. Our practitioners conduct behaviour support assessments to prepare behaviour support plans, in consultation with you and your family or support personnel.

Our Behaviour Support Practitioners are considered suitable to provide Specialist Behaviour Intervention Support and Behaviour Management Plans Including Training in Behaviour Management Strategies under Improved Relationships. Our practitioners undertake behaviour support assessments (including functional behavioural assessments) and develop interim/comprehensive behaviour support plans (with/without restrictive practices).

What’s involved

By developing personalised strategies that build independence, resilience and enhance wellbeing, our goal is to empower you to lead an improved quality of life. Our behaviour support practitioners conduct assessments and direct observations of the NDIS participants in collaboration with their families, and care teams to develop strategies and prepare behaviour support plans. Our practitioners provide skill development to the NDIS participants, strategies, and training in behaviour support plans to their caregivers.
